I'm Earning - Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
"I'm Earning" (the "App") is developed and published by M3A, an independent developer based in Italy and publishing on Google Play under that name (the "Developer"). For any question about this policy write to [email protected].
2. What the App does
The App shows, in real time, how much of your salary you have earned during the current day, week and pay month, based on the salary, currency, payday and weekly working hours that you type in. It also offers a stopwatch that converts a time interval into money at the same rate.
3. Data you enter in the App (stays on your device)
To work, the App asks you for:
- gross and net salary amount and how often you are paid (monthly, weekly, daily);
- currency;
- payday (day of month or day of week);
- your working hours for each day of the current and of the next week;
- your display preferences (net or gross view, theme, language, stopwatch state).
This information is stored only in the private storage of your device. It is never sent to the Developer or to any third party, and the Developer has no way to read it. If you enable Android's backup, the operating system may include these settings in the encrypted backup of your Google account, under Google's own terms. Uninstalling the App deletes this data; you can also delete it at any time from Android Settings > Apps > I'm Earning > Storage > Clear storage.
4. Data collected by third-party services
The App contains two Google services. They may collect data automatically, as described in their own policies. The App does not create accounts and never asks for your name, e-mail address, phone number or precise location.
4.1 Advertising - Google AdMob
The App shows a banner and, occasionally, a full-screen advertisement served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To select and measure advertisements, Google and its certified advertising partners may collect:
- the Android advertising ID (a resettable identifier that you can delete from Android Settings > Privacy > Ads);
- IP address and approximate (city-level) location derived from it;
- device information (model, operating system version, language, screen size), app identifier and version;
- interactions with advertisements (views, clicks).
How this data is used depends on your consent choice (see section 5). Without consent to personalisation, advertisements are not tailored to you. Details: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, AdMob partners.
4.2 Usage statistics and crash reports - Google Firebase
The App uses Firebase Analytics to count anonymous events (for example how often a page is opened or an advertisement is shown) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive a report when the App crashes. These services may collect: a random app-instance identifier, device model and operating system version, app version, country derived from the IP address, session duration and, for crashes, the technical state of the App at the moment of the error. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the App. The salary figures you enter are never part of these events. Details: Firebase Privacy and Security.
4.3 Consent management - Google User Messaging Platform
The consent dialog is provided by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which stores your choice on the device in the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework format so that the advertising SDK can honour it.
5. Legal basis and your consent (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows a consent dialog at the first start. Advertising, usage statistics and crash reports are activated only after you make a choice, and only to the extent you allow:
- Consent: advertising can be personalised, statistics and crash reports are collected.
- Manage options: you choose purpose by purpose. Allowing only the storage of information on the device is enough: advertising is then limited or non-personalised.
- Do not consent: statistics and crash reports stay off and Google serves only limited ads: contextual, non-personalised advertisements that do not use the advertising ID or other identifiers. Because the App is free and funded exclusively by advertising, it can be used only as long as some form of advertising can be shown: if your choices make that impossible, the App explains this and lets you review your choices or close it.
You can review or withdraw your consent at any time from Settings > Privacy settings inside the App; withdrawing it entirely has the effect described above. Outside those regions the services run under the legal basis of the Developer's legitimate interest in funding and improving a free application, and you can still limit them by deleting or resetting the advertising ID in Android settings.
6. Data retention
The Developer does not store any personal data. Data collected by Google is retained according to Google's policies: Firebase Analytics user-level data for up to 14 months, Crashlytics reports for 90 days, advertising data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Because the Developer does not hold any data about you, requests concerning advertising or analytics data must be addressed to Google through the links above or through your Google account settings. For anything else write to the contact e-mail in section 1.
8. Children
The App is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 16. The Developer does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Security
Your salary data is kept in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Communication with Google services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the App or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes will be announced in the App's store listing.
I'm Earning - Informativa sulla privacy
1. Chi siamo
- importo dello stipendio lordo e netto e frequenza di pagamento (mensile, settimanale, giornaliera);
- valuta;
- giorno di paga (del mese o della settimana);
- orari di lavoro di ogni giorno della settimana attuale e della prossima;
- l'ID pubblicita' di Android (un identificativo reimpostabile che puoi eliminare da Impostazioni Android > Privacy > Annunci);
- indirizzo IP e posizione approssimativa (a livello di citta') da esso derivata;
- informazioni sul dispositivo (modello, versione del sistema, lingua, dimensione dello schermo), identificativo e versione dell'app;
Dettagli: Privacy e sicurezza in Firebase.
7. I tuoi diritti
